MATT KAY
Director
Matt founded Walks Of Life Films in 2012 after making his first feature documentary Over The Wall about a British football team’s journey to play in Palestine. Ever since, he has continued to make socially conscious, imaginative, and character-led documentaries. Over the past ten years he’s directed and shot a variety of projects for broadcast, cinema and online streaming services including Netflix, Hulu, Apple, BBC, Channel 4 and over fifty film festivals. His films have won multiple awards, been viewed by millions and used across the globe, to inspire, educate and inform international policy.
Currently, Matt is directing three feature documentaries. The first, Against All Odds is a biographical documentary for A&E IndieFilms about TLC- one of the world's most successful music groups of all time. This is set to release later this year. The second, SuWo is an expansion of his critically acclaimed short Little Miss Sumo and follows the brave women revolutionising the sport in Japan. Matt and his long-time friend and producing partner Andy Carver are co-producing this documentary alongside Bungalow Town Productions, repped by Endeavor Content and funded by the DocSociety. Last, but by no means least, Matt is directing and shooting a feature documentary about Lewis Hamilton, for Apple TV+ set to release in 2023.
JASMINE BROWN
PRODUCTION MANAGER
For the past 8 years, Jasmine has been bringing her marketing expertise to one of Hollywood’s biggest studios- NBCUniversal. Now a marketing manager, Jasmine’s passion for film marketing, brand development, and event production are what drive her to excel in this role.
She has been working at WoLF in a freelance capacity since 2020, where has been instrumental in the production of a number of their films, including the Oscar longlisted Little Miss Sumo. More recently, Jasmine played a crucial role in the production of Patagonia's Run To The Source- acting as associate producer, production manager, and also event producing the enthusiastically received London premiere. During the making of Run To The Source Jasmine added a new string to her bow- deep diving into the music world and creating a dedicated EP Soundtrack for the documentary that went live on all digital music platforms upon the film’s release.
ANDY CARVER
PRODUCER
Andy is a Producer with over 14 years of experience on projects in 40+ countries around the world. He loves to focus on cinematic, character-driven documentaries that have a positive social impact. This passion has led him to collaborate with organisations such as Amnesty International and Greenpeace to produce powerful, purpose-driven films which have contributed to tangible change.
His work has been featured in film festivals including: Tribeca, London, Sydney, Sheffield Doc Fest, on major broadcast channels and streamers like Netflix, BBC, ITV, Sky, CNBC, and been widely viewed online- gaining over 11 million views. Andy’s portfolio of work also includes partnerships with the likes of Netflix, Virgin, Nikon, Patagonia, CNBC and WaterBear Network. Currently, he is working with Matt on SuWo- an expansion of the award-winning short doc Little Miss Sumo.
Chiara stennett
PRODUction assistant
Chiara is the newest member of the wolf pack. For the past five years Chiara has studied at Rose Bruford School of Acting and recently graduated from SOAS University of London. Chiara's passion for storytelling found expression in the music video scene, where she has been an essential part of projects led by accomplished directors and producers. Her recent work includes assisting on productions for talented artists like Stefflondon, Pheelz, and playing a key role in the production assistance and art direction of GRM Daily's The Legacy collection.
Taking on diverse responsibilities at WOLF, Chiara works closely with our director, Matt, ensuring the seamless functioning of business with our multiple exciting projects. She actively assists on set, bringing her skills and dedication to the creative side of the company. Chiara also contributes in the research for upcoming documentaries curation and drives our social media and marketing initiatives.
